Car Racing Challenge

Target age group:                          Years 4 - 7

What's Included:
There will be access to drinks and fruit throughout the whole day and prizes will be given to the winning team.

 

Challenge Description:
This resource aims to teach students how to build, market and race a car.  

In their teams, students have to firstly design the car that  they are going to make ensuing that whatever materials they choose, they keep within their budget.  

Each team will then be given a car making kit and they will have to build the car with as little help as possible.  There will be the opportunity to design a shell for the car using ICT facilities.

The car will then have to be marketed and a winning team will be picked based on the strength of the design, marketing and sponsorship won.
